The Good News: Park refinanced Centocelle

Good news for the troubled Centocelle Park. After countless openings and closings , unfortunate vandalism, fights and promises, yesterday on the site of the town read:

" Centocelle The park will be fully realized, thanks to a loan made by the Commission for Roma Capitale and ratified by Capitolina. It gives the news Councillor for the Environment, Fabio De Lillo.

The appropriation specifies De Lillo, amounts to two million and 800 thousand euro.

La presenza di private activities will hopefully ensure greater care and safety of the park, and then living, removing the specter of vandalism and decay.

I personally wrote to MetroC spa at the end to see if the pedestrian bridge will be built on Casilina of the future station and the park, which had been excluded from the project, when in fact it would be an operation of "accessibility" is very clever people to experience the park station, enticing even those who have no green space around the house to get the meter.

However, not all problems are solved, is the knot of the "junkyard" and the recovery of the villas Roman found in the park and covered by the superintendent, as this article explains it well:

In any case, the news is positive. We'll see.

Metro C: We did 30 ... 28?

Old Town and the simultaneous rise in construction costs that has inflamed the minds of many committees including the metro-hardened skeptics Project Celio.

After years of archaeological sites and rumors that they want all the power stations at risk, the definitive cancellation of the Largo Argentina stop, stop the movement of St. Peter's Square Paoli to a new location on Via della Conciliazione last July comes a double news: funding by the CIPE-trafficking S.Giovanni Coliseum (2 stations), which provides the exchange with the metro B and the concomitant decision to drop the New Church (the only stop survived until then, on Corso Vittorio Emanuele) and Renaissance. Basically it goes from Piazza Venezia to St. Peter (2 km) non-stop in the bend of the Baroque period. A scandal that cries out for vengeance. From the initial pass 31 stations to 28.
official sites Romametropolitane.it MetroCspa and promptly update maps, charts and tables to adapt to the new statements.
In any case it is called because on paper money to the central section (T2 - Venice Clodius) there are none.

And so that entrepreneurs are building the remaining sections of C (including some Caltagirone) in September come forward with the proposal to fund in exchange for concessions is the central management of commercial stations, the line itself, but also the commons building.
And then once you turn the hope of recovering at least the New Church, essential stop for the center, more cash to financial problems that archaeologists. Not only that. The mayor raised the hope that with the help of private individuals can bring the northern terminus of the foreign ministry Clodius and serve as the Olympic stadium in view of candidacy in the 2020 Olympics. And here is magically reappear on the sites the bullets of the stations on the New Church and Renaissance critical path.
How many stations did we get then? Who knows!

MetroC The site opened after restyling brings us the following situation, evidently still drunk with the many statements:

" 28 stazioni of the fundamental path "(as in the chart, there are still Risorgimento and the New Church)

For posterity will judge.
