rests in God alone my soul.
rests in God alone my soul:
him my salvation.
Him alone is my rock and my salvation,
my defense I will never waver.

rests in God alone my soul: he

He alone is my rock and my salvation;
my defense: I stand firm.

In God is my salvation and my glory;
my safe haven, my refuge is in God
Trust in him, or people, at all times;
before him, open your heart.
SECOND READING
1 Cor 4.1 to 5
from the first letter of Paul to the Corinthians
Brothers, one should regard us as servants of Christ and stewards of the mysteries of God now, what is required of stewards that they found trustworthy.
but I care very little about being judged by you or by a human court, indeed, I do not even judge myself, because even if they are not aware of any fault, why are not justified. My judge is the Lord!
so please do not judge nothing before the time, until the Lord comes. He will bring to light the hidden things of darkness and make manifest the counsels of the hearts: and then each receive from God the praise.
SINGING THE GOSPEL
Heb 4.12
Alleluia, alleluia.
The word of God is living and active,
discerns the thoughts and intents of the heart.

Alleluia.

GOSPEL
6.24 to 34 Mt
From the Gospel according to Matthew
Then Jesus told his disciples:
"No one can serve two masters: for either he will hate the one and love the other or one and despise the other. You can not serve God and wealth.
Therefore I say unto you, do not worry about your life, what you will eat or drink, nor about your body, what you wear, maybe life is not worth more than food and the body more than clothing?
Look at the birds of the air neither sow nor reap, nor gather into barns, yet your heavenly Father feeds them. Not much better than they are worth? And which of you, as you worry, can extend their lives even a little?
And the dress, why do you bother? Observe how the lilies of the field, not toil nor spin. Yet I tell you that even Solomon in all his glory was not arrayed like one of them. Now, if God so clothe the grass of the field, which is here today and tomorrow is thrown into the oven, will do much more clothe you, O ye of little faith?
Do not worry, saying, "What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What shall we wear? ". Of all these things go in search of the pagans. Your heavenly Father knoweth that ye have need.
Instead, try, first, the kingdom of God and His righteousness, and all these things shall be added to you.
not worry so tomorrow, for tomorrow will take care of itself. Each day has enough trouble of its'.

OMELIA 1

Introduzione.
a. Only the Lord is the task of judging the actions of others;
b. no one can replace God in judging others, the more that the Lord reserves to reward or condemn our actions, at the end of our lives.
Since the judge is among the most frequent activities of our intelligence, I think it is appropriate to mention some directions of travel, because our actions do not damage the field of justice and charity. Therefore:
  1. The assessment of human actions with significant socio-political as well as his own conscience, it is legally recognized human justice, which puts in atto in modo equo quel famoso “La legge è uguale per tutti”, scritto su tutti i tribunali dei comuni mortali.
" (Mt. 7.1 to 4). S. Paul, in very difficult times, writing to Christians in Rome is no exception: "But why dost thou judge thy brother? ... Each of us shall give account of himself to God "(Rom. 14.10 to 12).
Reflection.
From what we understand the Word of God, judging others is not an easy job, especially, that none of us has the authority and the meter just to wear the toga of impartial judges. He said our good
Alighieri, berating those who condemn those who died unbaptized and without faith: \u0026lt;Or who are you, you want to sit at the chair, to judge a thousand miles away, with the short vision of a span?> (Par. XIX, 79-81).
  1. trust a little more of the Providence of God, is the second message of today's liturgy.
"Do not worry by saying: What shall we eat? What shall we drink? What to wear? Of these things go in search of the pagans. Your heavenly Father knows that you need. Instead you seek the Kingdom of God and his righteousness and all these things shall be added to you ". (3 rd reading)
This exhortation of the Lord leaves no doubt: but in this respect, it should ask two questions:
  1. What we mean by Divine Providence?
A brief overview of the problem throughout history, helps us to better understand its importance. Among the ancient Greeks, we recognized an intrinsic order to the cosmos. Plato and Sophocles conceive the universe as a unified body of "soul of the world." Historians
with Seneca, Cicero and Chrysippus, are a step forward in recognizing a vague "Providence" contained within the same world, but do not leave room for human freedom, which has to resign before the pain and death.
In the Old Testament, the concept of Providence is manifested by the numerous interventions of God in favor of sensational del popolo di Israele.
  3. Teologico: per il fatto, che per natura siamo stati creati ad immagine e somiglianza di Dio e per la grazia del Battesimo siamo diventati suoi figli adottivi, Egli, che è Padre, con le premure di un’amorevole mother will not miss anything than is necessary for our material and spiritual welfare.
Reflection.
\u0026lt;Today - wrote a famous Parisian psychoanalyst, philosopher and theologian, Maurice Bellet - we face the collapse of hope. But know that Christianity is a bearer of hope, which transcends all discouragement and despair because it is rooted on the Resurrection of Christ and the Providence of God requires believers to proclaim the man of our time, the "no resignation" >. (Maurice Bellet)
  1. With what dispositions we must rely on God's providence?
Risposta. Con l’intenzione di:
(1° Tim. 6,10).
Riflessione.
Perciò,  “ Non preoccupatevi del domani – dice il Signore – perché a ciascun giorno basta la sua pena” , < E quando sei nella prova – ci assicura S. Agostino – pensa, che ne uscirai, perché God is faithful and provident>.

HOMILY 2

What does it matter ... well, who what?
Not infrequently it happens that in the above dialogue with young people (maybe more or less close to the wedding) automatically cues the question: But when you get married? And if "some details" are not yet ready, click the reply: "but we have not yet home, not a stable job! Then, in times like these, how do I get the (many, unfortunately) things we need to make a family? ". And so on, with answers like this (to me quite obvious, in fact, given the times we live and the society in which we live). In the same way then, maybe this time with the young couples, it happens with the discourse on children. "But if we did not put anything aside, how are we going? And then, 'I'm the son might be a bit' wait until we find a balance. "
not unusual at this point, I move the discussion forward and say: "But where is God in this thy / your history ? Believe in God? Believe in his attention to you? ". And here, many times, the answer-question: "So what? Of course I believe. " "Oh yeah?" I say.
And only one of many life situations that could lead to illustrate a reading of the society in which we live (I stress, is not all that much but certainly are those who make their accounts not to put in God). We live in a historical context where the calculations are prevalent, where projects and techniques to gain (= means of ensuring a future, according to our calculations, sure) more innovative and more efficient. And they could demonstrate that we have not achieved even the little faith that it would take to work miracles in our lives. God is not far from our lives. God has not forgotten about us and our lives. In fact, God wants to be in our lives, just as it is, he wants to be part of our calculations and make them her.
The gospel is proposed to us this Sunday aims to be an examination of clear, transparent, the authenticity of our faith in God because if we really believe in God, all our calculations should at least lose that tension, that cause us concern. And this happens only and only because they are our calculations, which, despite being highly-facts, are and will remain human calculations that can never anticipate everything. And maybe because they do not capture all human and why, for that produce all this uncertainty and concern. Our view is often very close if our eyes are not "placed" behind the eyes of God if we only see life with our eyes, we can hardly see life and the world as they really are.
A Chinese proverb says that in order to enjoy the beauty of a field with multi-colored flowers also need to know to retreat up the hill closer to the field and watch it from there. Turning to our case, even Jesus, the mountain where his speech is emblematic, retrieve, or better, makes you awaken our ability to see, "Look at the birds ... look at the lilies," to say "be smart and see with your eyes that in everything around you is no God ... God got to do What! Will always be an objective fact that birds do not sow, nor gather, yet never die of hunger, and that the lilies (and all the flowers) are so "well dressed" no "fashion house" will never be able to match.
We are therefore faced with a challenge that allows us to learn not so much to be pre-Videntia us, how to trust Providence. So, not our pre-security scheme, as the pro-security scheme providence of God this is not is learned from books or speeches of others (ie, not from mine), because from his experience. Meanwhile, from the things around us (the world, the genuine, where signs abound of God), the life of the people we meet ... the life that is renewed every morning. Then, you will permit me to invite everyone to "climb" the mountain, that is to say stop for a moment to see so many signs of God's presence in our lives ... a real presence.
Why God has to do with our lives! And blessed is he who can to see that God is the "who got to do" and then chose him as the prime determinants of "calculations" that fits their lives. So, we leave it to the foresight of Providence to lead our lives. We can do it, because God comes to our aid.
We ask today for us and for everyone the gift of little faith, faith that makes God into our lives and that allows him to make miracles. What?

penitential rite
Anthem input of today's liturgy is an invitation to abandon ourselves into the hands of the Lord, because He alone is our support, and only him as an expert navigator, can lead us to the port of eternal salvation, including the troubled waters of our world. Therefore, when we prepare to relive the mystery of Easter joy, humbly acknowledge our sins before Him, to offer a sincere and repentant heart.

Where is discord, union,

Where is doubt, let me sow faith, where
