The Association of Traditional Pietas
Traditional Pietas The Association, headquartered in Crotone (Italy ) and three other offices in Rome (Italy), Lucca (Italy) and Athens (Greece), is a cultural non-profit. Purpose of the Association is to promote, disseminate and re-evaluate the traditions greek-roman and in particular the many aspects of ancient culture. The association, in order to achieve its purpose, promotes cultural activities accessible to all, conventions, conferences, research, debates, seminars, exhibitions, cultural tours in Eastern history, training and periodic updating and editorial publications. Information on the activities of the association are also issued through the official site.
Classical Tradition, unlike others, tends to evolution, the search and discovery. Staticizza not falling over itself in the traditional, but it energizes experiencing a continuous rise in new experiences to improve.
Born in Italy thanks to some fans of Roman culture, in special historical, archaeological, legal, economic and philosophical, the association has been enriched by its members and employees of various nationalities and professions (archaeological, epigraphic, historians, art critics, painters, sculptors, linguists, naturalists, lawyers, economists and doctors) to represent what may be more valid in the context of the ancient wisdom traditions of civil society today, so that the precious heritage of our ancestors to be taken up and reassessed with a view to modern maturity.
Piety is the sense of duty (as in dictionaries, Latin), dutiful affection for parents, children, relatives, friends, a dutiful sense of justice for men and gods, that is, for all religious ideas, then tolerance and global respect.
The ATP website promotes our cultural activities (located in the program) at the same time creating a database of information on all events (conferences, seminars, exhibitions and other activities - historical art) in progress and those that occur in the future, around the world with matches from Italy, Greece, France, UK, USA and China. Within the site users, via their blog are invited to write articles and to participate in the Forum to look into various issues raised, opening in this way, various cultural debates.
